Malmö

I was in Malmö a few weeks ago. It was only a short visit, but what a great visit it was. Malmö is a very cosy city with a lot of great cuisines and the best thing is, it's very close to lovely Copenhagen!

Here are three places that I would like to recommend.

Boulangerie (Östra Rönneholmsvägen 6)
Great French bakery. I so envy Malmö!

Lilla Kafferosteriet (Baltzarsgatan 24)
It's like stepping into a rustic cottage, set in town. A very popular place, where they roast their own coffee beans.

Restaurant Bastard (Mäster Johansgatan 11)
Sit at the bar and just enjoy!

Fruit Cocktail

 Best lychees ever!
 Fresh lotus seed heads
Fresh lotus seeds
Love coconut water.
Guess what I was looking for...
DURIAN!!! Also known as the "King of Fruits".
There were these kind of fruit stalls everywhere in Cambodia and Vietnam.
Langsat, definitely one of my new favorite fruits. So tasty!
 Humongous avocado!
I don't know the name of this red currant like fruit. This little thing tasted so funny, in a good way though. It's like a shot of Sweet Soup (Tong Sui 糖水) explodes in your mouth.
One of my favorites, Coco de Mer (sea coconut).
Rambutan

...and mangoes, longans, pomelos, guavas, jackfruits, mangosteens, rose apples (chompoos), sugar apples, lamuts (sapodilla), dragon fruits, papayas, all kind of melons, pineapples... Everything was so tasty! But there was one fruit, salak (snake-fruit!!), that I didn't like at all!

This is one of the things I miss the most from my Asia trip, all these fruits!

Dongxing, China

Waiting for our food.

I just love all these fruit stalls in Asia.
 Food stalls.
A meal for three, cost below 15 SEK!
Noodle Soup for lunch, only 8 SEK!
Home cooked dinner. That's luxury!
 Spending time with the kids.
Noodle Soup with Beef Chuck and Pig's Feet. So tasty!

I had a great three days' visit in Dongxing. Everyone was so nice to us and everything was so cheap! And the lychees, Oh My God, the lychees were so good! I ate so much that my tongue started to sore.
