¡Qué rico mango!

Late night snacks, Mangosteen, Peruvian Mango, Granadilla and "Tiger Cake".
Delicious, thanks sweetie!

I love fruits, and there has been a lot of Peruvian Mangoes lately. Definitely the best mango I've ever tasted, even better than those from Asia. So good!

In The Kitchen

Matcha and Black Sesame Tang Yuan (綠茶黑芝麻湯圓)

I usually make desserts for my parents, every other weekend. And today, I made Tang Yuan. It was actually my first time making these glutinous rice balls, quite odd really, because these are one of my favorite Chinese sweets, especially if it's my mom who made them.

1 small papaya (500g)
1 piece of white fungus
2 tsp sweet and bitter chinese almonds (南杏/北杏)
5 red dates
Rock sugar (adjust to taste)
Water

Directions
1. Soak white fungus in a bowl of hot water, for about 1 hour. Clean and remove the stem. Cut the fungus into smaller pieces.
2. Peel the papaya, unseed the fruit with a spoon and cut into small, bite-sized chunks.
3. Put all ingredients in a stew pot and fill up with water.
4. Place the stew pot into a big pot with water. Bring it to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for about 2 hours.

Enjoy!
