Benvenuti a Nonna

 

I went to this new Italian restaurant last week, well it's actually not really new, more like change of name, menu and decor, but it's still the same owner. Etc Grande is now called Nonna, and it means granny in Italian. I really like their new makeover, the restaurant has now three sections, the terrace, the kitchen and the living room. It's like going home to someone. A great place to spend time with friends and loved ones.

The food was good, not the best Italian that I've had, but I like that the dishes felt very traditional. I strongly recommend the osso buco.

Sunny Thursday

 Dinner at Familjen, with my beloved family.

Home-baked cinnamon buns, and wife cakes from London. They are spoiling me, these wonderful people!

Today has been a great day, so much love and laughter. After two weeks with cold, fever and headache, I'm finally feeling much better. Now I can go out and run again! Yey!!

Malmö

I was in Malmö a few weeks ago. It was only a short visit, but what a great visit it was. Malmö is a very cosy city with a lot of great cuisines and the best thing is, it's very close to lovely Copenhagen!

Here are three places that I would like to recommend.

Boulangerie (Östra Rönneholmsvägen 6)
Great French bakery. I so envy Malmö!

Lilla Kafferosteriet (Baltzarsgatan 24)
It's like stepping into a rustic cottage, set in town. A very popular place, where they roast their own coffee beans.

Restaurant Bastard (Mäster Johansgatan 11)
Sit at the bar and just enjoy!

I got this beautiful Styrofoam box today, all the way from Halmstad. It's gelato from Möllegård, and I got two flavors, Hazelnut and Mango Sorbet. Oh My God!! Let me tell you this, from now on, I want all my ice creams in a Styrofoam box!! This Riccardo sure knows how to make ice cream. Love, love, love!
